چکیده
Abstract Biotic stress caused by pests on citrus trees has become a major problem for ecologists around the world, hence need to develop ecological approaches surmount this stress. To evaluate effectiveness of diverse control methods pest Panonychus citri and its predators, Euseius stipulatus , Phytoseiulus persimilis Typhlodromus sp. Different treatments were applied in orchards planted Citrus clementina Gharb area Morocco (T0 = treated water only, T1 spirodiclofen (the molecular formula is C21H24Cl2O4). 0.5 L/ha, T2 5% black soap 125 Its ingredients are: argan oil, olive olive, salt, water, vegetable potash, without chemicals. T3 mixture two detergents; Oni product composed following (sodium C12-13 parenth sulfate, sodium C14-17 alkyl sec sulfonate) Tide with C10-16 alkylbenzene sulfonate, propylene glycol borate). Results obtained during follow-up period showed that soap, spirodiclofen, detergent provided decrease P. population comparison plot whole monitoring period. We found 5,044 mobile forms 1,544 3,002 1,567 detergents. This study demonstrated all three had negative effect predators survived (T0), while impact beneficial phytoseiid mites was greater than However, increase temperature according weeks significant evolution density studied mites. Unfortunately, chemical products like used against various are considered toxic phytoseiids agro-ecosystem general. aims detect mixtures detergents their impacts predators: E. replace use pesticides these alternative methods, which remain effective environmentally friendly.

Control of two–spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acari: Tetranychidae) by some selected chemicals
The experiment was conducted to study the effectiveness of four commonly used chemicals viz., deltamethrin, cypermethrin, malathion and sulphur against two-spotted spider mite (TSSM), Tetranychus urticae Koch on potted bean plants and on excised leaf discs. Mite population remained significantly lower in all treated plots except malathion treatment. The population of T. urticae differed signifi...

A laboratory trial evaluated four phytoseiid species for their potential as biological control agents of spruce spider mite, Oligonychus ununguis (Jacobi) (Acari: Tetranychidae). An augmentative biological control approach, using the predatory mites Neoseiulus fallacis Garman and Galendromus occidentalis Nesbitt (Acari: Phytoseiidae), was evaluated for reducing pest mite densities and injury, a...

The use of a standardized beat sampling method for estimating spruce spider mite, Oligonychus ununguis (Jacobi) (Acari: Tetranychidae), densities on a widely used evergreen ornamental plant species, Juniperus chinensis variety 'Sargentii' A. Henry (Cupressaceae), was examined. There was a significant positive relationship between total spruce spider mite densities and spider mite densities from...
متن کاملFecundity in twospotted spider mite (Acari: Tetranychidae) is increased by direct and systemic exposure to imidacloprid.
The effect of imidacloprid on fecundity in twospotted spider mites, Tetranychus urticae Koch, was investigated in laboratory experiments using individual females on bean leaf discs. Mites were directly exposed to spray formulations of imidacloprid or fed on discs cut from a systemically treated bean plant. Imidacloprid-treated T. urticae produced 10-26% more eggs during the first 12 d of adult ...

Environ.Enlomol.17(4): 715-721 (1988) ABSTRACT The suitability of lemon, Citrus limon (L.) Burm. cv. Lisbon, for egg production by the citrus red mite, Panonychus citri (McGregor), was compared with that of mandarin orange, Citrus unshiu Markovitch cv. Satsuma in the field and laboratory over a 15-moperiod. The two plant specieswere most suitable during the spring (April-June), when mites gener...
